Identifying improved medical countermeasures for chemical threat agents that cause seizures in humans
The Center has 3 research projects - reducing neuroinflammation, protecting blood-brain barrier function, and normalizing neural excitability – to improve neurological health following exposure to organophosphate nerve agents.
Three scientific cores support the research projects by providing facilities, expertise and training in 1) analytical and medicinal chemistry, 2) neuroimaging, and 3) statistics and study design.
